Summer vacation looks a bit different this year so WE'RE helping you embrace the STAY-cation!

We're all trying to stay closer to home this year  (whether we have a choice or not) and while that might mean your typical summer vacation was canceled, it doesn't mean there's no way to enjoy the summer. So, we've compiled a list of staycation spots within driving distance of Toronto and the GTA. Stay safe and enjoy!

 1. Prince Edward County

First up on our list, with its magnificent sandy beaches and dunes, the Sandbanks has always attracted a large contingent of campers, long before the County became a new hot spot know known for its wineries and foodie lovers!

 2. The Muskokas

Picturesque lakes, neighbouring towns, bustling water activities. What more do you want from a summer vacay?  And with so many towns to choose from, there has to be one that fits your style and budget.

 3. Niagara On The Lake

Stroll the quaint town of Niagra on the Lake, take in the views and the many patios. Or better yet rent a bike and tour to some of Canada's most beautiful wineries. Don't forget to shop local as the town is filled with independent shops with locally made goods!

 4. Mont Tremblant

Known for its winter activities, Mont Tremblant is just as exciting in the summer. From paddle-boarding to fishing, and even white water rafting there is plenty to do and see when hitting the slopes just isn't an option.

 5. Hamilton

Having shed its rep as a gritty steel town, Hamilton is mid-renaissance, though still refreshingly real. Expect trendy galleries and cafes, bike sharing, and yoga, but also an artsy downtown where people live, work, and play. Don't forget to photo- op at the falls at Smokey Hollow Bruce Trail!
